This November, Gynergy invites you to be part of a sacred kind of transformation. Not just your own, but that of a resilient, inspiring mother who has endured hardship with unshakable courage.
We’re heading to Baja, Mexico for our second Gynergy Service Retreat, in collaboration with Baja Bound. Over the course of 2 nights and 3 days, we’ll roll up our sleeves, open our hearts, and build a home for a very deserving family: Esthela, a single mother, and her three young children, who are currently living in a small room made of plastic without the safety, space, or stability every family deserves.
Esthela Estrada Medina, 34, is the eldest of three siblings, born in Nayarit. At 22, she moved with her parents to Sonora, where she met her partner. Their first child was born in Sinaloa eight years ago. During her second pregnancy, they moved to Baja California, where her second child was born. Three years ago, they returned to Baja permanently, and her youngest was born there.
Life, however, has been far from stable. Struggling with an abusive partner and his battle with alcoholism, Esthela and her children endured nights of being thrown out of their only shelter. Even after seeking help and supporting his rehabilitation, the abuse continued. Today, she stands alone, working the fields under the hot sun, picking carrots and cutting branches, fighting to provide food, pay for childcare, and slowly chip away at the debt on the small piece of land she bought. With nothing but a room made of plastic for protection, she dreams of giving her children the one thing they have never known: the safety and dignity of a real home.
This is not just about building walls.
It’s about restoring dignity.
2 nights and 3 days of purpose, connection, and transformation

furniture, applicances, bedding, electricity, and water for the family
