This April, Gynergy invites you to be part of a sacred kind of transformation. Not just your own—but that of a resilient, inspiring family who has overcome unimaginable odds.
We’re heading to Baja, Mexico for our first-ever Gynergy Service Retreat, in collaboration with Baja Bound. Over the course of 2 nights and 3 days, we’ll roll up our sleeves, open our hearts, and build a home for the Bentancurt Mendoza family—a courageous mother, her daughters, and her newborn grandson who are currently living in a trailer without running water or electricity.
Adriana, the mother, was married at 15 and raised 7 children. As the eldest of 18 siblings, she never had the chance to go to school—life asked her to become a caretaker far too soon. After escaping poverty in Michoacán, she now lives in Maneadero in a small trailer that doesn’t withstand the rain—and with a 2-month-old grandson in her arms, the stakes are higher than ever. Her daughter Blanca is only 20 and already a single mom to baby Sebastián, after courageously leaving an abusive relationship. And Elena, just 14, juggles school, home duties, and a diabetes diagnosis—with grace beyond her years.
2 nights and 3 days of purpose, connection, and transformation
Beachside accommodations, all meals, and roundtrip transportation from San Diego included—so you can be fully present
Group movement, breathwork, cold plunges, and soulful integration practices
Heart-opening visits to orphanages—playing, connecting, and giving with purpose
Unforgettable moments with a community of like-hearted leaders
The once-in-a-lifetime experience of building a home for a family in need
“People aren’t moved by logic—they move when they feel seen, heard, and connected.”
You will return home feeling more grounded, more grateful, and more alive than you’ve felt in a long time. This isn’t just a getaway—it’s a homecoming to who you really are, and why you’re here.
Every contribution makes an impact and goes directly toward:
An experienced bilingual staff to support construction, logistics, and communication
All materials, tools, and essentials to build a 16×20 ft insulated home on a concrete slab with electrical wiring
Ongoing community outreach including a feeding program, a local orphanage, and a migrant camp
